This was my favourite place to eat while I visited Melbourne for work! The atmosphere looked so welcoming after an exhausting morning at work, and the openness of the space, the great music, and bright lights filled me with life and made it feel like I had the room to decompress and relax for a while. The staff treated me with such warmth and kindness, and they were exceptionally accommodating to my questions and requests. When I didn't know what some of the Lebanese words in the ingredients meant, they explained them and offered me a taste of the sauce on a spoon (and even though I hate coriander, I actually loved the sauce!). The felafel wrap I ate was the best I've ever had, and I enjoyed it so much I returned for breakfast the next day. Although they didn't have a breakfast menu (singe they just opened - but they're working on one that's coming out in a week or two), the chef came and asked me what I'd like to eat and made it for me, which made me feel so special. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town. Can't wait to see how popular they become in the months ahead!

Absolutely amazing food. Service is exceptional and I wouldn’t change a thing. They always have the freshest food made daily onsite and always delicious. An amazing addition to our 75 Dorcas St building. I would be lost without them making my morning mocha every single day

I’ve never had a bad pizza from Tarator! The manager is very friendly and open and tells us all the food is made from scratch with fresh daily ingredients and you can tell as soon as you bite into it. Might be my new favourite pizza in Melbourne!

This place!! Came in when they first opened with my 3 other friends and their personable persona was so refreshing. The two main men working were incredibly generous and caring for our order and time, and felt so welcomed. The food was delicious and atmosphere was bright and calm. Highly recommend Tarator if your coming or around Melbourne.

Came on a Sunday for a late lunch. Was slightly disappointed that the wraps were not available on weekend but the owner and staff were all very friendly. The owner recommended their hand-stretched stone-baked pizzas saying its the best in Melbourne. So we tried the Molfetta Amore ($26.50) which was a mix of grilled chicken over Fior di latte & parmesa cheese. Love the rosemary garlic potato and sweet corn on the pizza. The owner even let us try his home-made chilli sauce which was the perfect finishing touch to the crunchy pizza crust. The hot chocolate ($4.70) was very thick and sweet, the exact kind of drink you would need on a cold winter day. There was also a variety of desserts to choose from: we got the apple crumble and brownie ($6.50 each) - you can request for it to be heated if you prefer it warm! Wonderful experience here and will definitely come back again.

We were craving for something hearty and decided to walk in for takeout. We were welcomed by such warmth. Was taken thoroughly through the menu, with good recommendations. Ordered 2 pizzas and since they were made fresh, we managed to have them still piping hot when we got home. Both pizzas were incredible! Such a treat! The pastas have yet to be released - can’t wait to try them as well. Definitely can foresee this place being our go to local. Will be back for more!
